FAQ

Common questions.

If your question isn't here, text the studio at (303) 396-5530. Text is preferred over phone.

What kind of massage do you do? +

Integrative bodywork — eight modalities (deep tissue, sports, Zoku Shin Do, myofascial, trigger point, Swedish, hot stone, chair). Most sessions blend two or three. The blend is built around what you walked in needing, not a fixed menu.

Do I need to know which modality to pick before booking? +

No. Book the 90-minute Foundational Restoration Session (new guests only, $115) and we figure out the right approach together during the session.

Is this a deep tissue or relaxation place? +

Both, neither, and everything in between. The work is integrative. If you specifically want deep tissue, say so at booking. If you specifically want relaxation, say so too. The session adapts.

What if I have a specific complaint — chronic shoulder pain, low-back tension, recovering from an injury? +

Tell me at the start of the session. Most sessions are built around one or two specific complaints. The 60-minute Signature Therapeutic ($100) is sized for focused work on one area. The 90-minute Ultimate Healing Experience ($140) is sized for layered work across multiple complaints.

What is Zoku Shin Do? I haven't heard of it. +

A Japanese foot-and-lower-leg therapy that predates and influenced Western reflexology. The work concentrates on specific reflex points across the soles, dorsum, ankle, calf, and shin. It is not a foot rub and it is not Western reflexology — it is its own distinct body of work. Few US therapists are trained in it; as far as we know, no other Fort Collins-area therapist offers it. See the dedicated page for more.

What's the difference between the three session types? +

Length and use case. Foundational Restoration (90 min / $115) is new-guests-only — built for someone walking in for the first time, with time to talk and adjust. Signature Therapeutic (60 min / $100) is the standard return session, sized for focused work. Ultimate Healing Experience (90 min / $140) is for returning clients wanting deeper or more layered integrative work.

Where is the studio? +

1318 S. College Ave, on the second floor of a small multi-tenant building south of CSU campus. Easy parking on-site or on side streets. See the contact page for directions and parking notes.

How close is it to CSU? +

Walking distance from the south end of CSU campus (5-15 minutes depending on starting point). Quick drive or MAX ride from the rest. See the CSU-area page for athlete-specific notes.

What's your cancellation policy? +

6 business hours notice required to reschedule or cancel. Full charge for no-shows. The studio runs on appointment in a one-practitioner practice, and a missed slot is a real cost.

How do I pay? +

Credit card, Venmo, or cash at end of session. Payment is handled in-studio or through the ClinicSense booking flow.

Do you offer gift certificates? +

Yes. Ask at booking, or text the studio at (303) 396-5530.

What about minors? +

Parent or guardian must be present for the session. Ask at booking and we will route appropriately.

Are you taking new clients? +

Yes. As a solo practitioner there is a real ceiling on availability, but the calendar generally has openings within a week or two. Same-week booking is usually fine; same-day is sometimes possible — text first if you need quick.

Do you do mobile or in-home massage? +

For corporate chair massage events, yes — see the chair massage page. For one-on-one in-home table sessions, generally no. The studio is built for the work.

Question not answered?
